I Have No Feud With Five Star Music

For over five years, entertainment personality, Soso Soberekon, was the manager of music label, Five Star Music, and he was often with the label’s artistes.

Known to have some clout in the entertainment industry, Soso helped in securing shows and other deals for the artistes he managed. He usually accompanied them to events and he was the one responsible their booking arrangements. It was apparent that he did his job well and the label was pleased with him. The chubby, dark-skinned manager was however given the boot by the label in 2015 when he wrongly announced to the media that one of the label’s artistes, Skiibii, was dead. But both parties soon made up and Soso was accepted back into the company.

However, news broke some weeks ago that Soberekon had dumped Five Star and had set up his own company, White Lion Global, which among other things, has an entertainment subsidiary called White Lion Entertainment. The company would be involved in artiste management; pretty much the same thing Soso was doing at Five Star Music.

Even though many have insinuated that there is bad blood between the erstwhile business partners, Soberekon revealed that they are on good terms for now.

He said, “There are no hard feelings between us. As we all know, the only thing constant in life is change. I have been with them for a while, and it is only natural for me to move on when the time is right.”

On the allegations that he was dropped by the label due to his negligence, he said, “That is far from the truth and I can authoritatively tell you that nothing like that happened. For now, what I can say is that there is no fight between us. But if they should make any move, then I would let the cat out of the bag. Something truly happened between us but I’m not ready to talk now. If anything else happens, I will let you know.”
